Finally Set Free is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization. We exist to serve survivors of domestic violence pick up the pieces of their shattered lives after abuse and put them back together again.
The organization was created out of a desire and commitment to help survivors of domestic violence. We assist in helping them understand what happened to their mind, body and spirit during the abuse and how to move forward with their lives after the abuse.
We envision a world where no child, will ever witness domestic violence.
Bringing survivors of domestic violence education, hope and healing in order to prevent the painful and destructive pattern of unhealthy and unsafe relationships.
COMMUNITY
Providing a safe, non judgmental, supportive community for survivors is important to our organization. Fostering a supportive, encouraging and growth nurturing community is what we as an organization strive to provide for participants in our programs.

We strive for commitment in providing excellent care to our survivors that is trauma informed and trauma sensitive. . We are committed to allowing them to express their individuality in their healing and recovery process. We are committed to helping them to meet their needs where ever they are in their recovery process.

We are committed to elevating our compassion and the best in humanity to those we serve. We furthermore, strive, to foster and encourage clients to give the gift of compassion to themselves.
Trauma Informed And Evidence Based Approach Programs
All of our programs and services use a trauma informed and evidence based approach to improve the outcomes of the survivors we serve. Clients are accepted into our program by referral only from domestic violence shelters, hospitals, community medical and behavioral health providers and domestic violence advocacy agencies.
Our services are for educational purposes and are meant to be used along with, and not as a replacement for, the mental health services clients may require. Our programing includes online educational training about abusive and pathological romantic relationships, the trauma survivors experienced and what to expect in their recovery and healing process. We also have licensed registered nurses to provide case management services to our clients.
Case management services include education about health, health maintenance and wellness. Nurses also assess for other medical and mental health needs and make appropriate community referrals based upon client needs.
EACH ONE, REACH ONE MENTOR PROGRAM
Our “Each One, Reach One Mentor Program”, is the first of it's kind in the State of Georgia. Our "Each One, Reach One Mentor "Program offers one to one mentor for survivors of domestic violence as they move forward in the difficult process of healing.
Our mentors reach back and lift up a sister survivor, just when they need it the most. Our team of mentors are trained in trauma informed, care. They understand and comprehend the dynamics of abusive relationships.
STRONGER 2 GATHER
Abusive relationship happen in isolation, our client's recovery and healing doesn't have to. Finally Set Free provides our "Stronger 2 Gather', monthly support groups to provide survivors a chance to learn from veteran survivors who have" been there and done that."
Our support groups are solutions focused and are created to help clients get unstuck in the healing journey. Our groups help the survivor move from what happened to them, to what they will need to learn now moving forward beyond what happened to them.
We also host a private and monitored platform for survivors to get support from seasoned survivors who are trauma informed. Our seasoned survivors help their sister survivors understand that recovery and healing is possible. Our veteran survivors provide their sister survivors will the gift of the priceless gift of hope.
Education and Prevention Is Our Top Priority
Finally Set Free also provides community outreach educational programs to spread awareness and education on the epidemic of domestic violence in our state and in our society. An informed community is a safer community.
We will provide comprehensive online courses on the dynamics of domestic violence, relationships with a pathological partner, the healing process and rebuilding life after abuse.
The courses are designed to help clients understand the events that happened in the relationship and what happened to them during the relationship.
In addition, our clients will lean to understand the role that trauma is playing in their lives and their decisions.
They will be better equipped to not only recover, but empowered to make informed decision in order to protect themselves from future victimization.
Our medical case management services will be provided by a licensed registered nurse. Clients undergo intake screenings and medical and behavioral health history assessments.
Individualized plan of care will be created for clients and. connected to community, medical and behavioral health services as applicable.
Hypertension and diabetes lifestyle education will also be provided. Nurses will also provide education on health preventative screenings.
. Our" Each One. Reach One" Mentor program is the first of it's kind in the State Of Georgia. It is designed to provide client's with the tools and support they need when they need it most.
Along side by side with their mentor, clients are never alone. Our supportive services are designed to provide clients with the support and encouragement they need to recover and heal from the abuse they have endured.
Each participant will be paired with their own personal mentor to help offer support, encouragement .and inspiration.
Our program will also our " Stronger 2 Gather" monthly support group calls. Our "Stronger 2 Gather" trauma informed coaching and support calls allow our clients to grow and learn from other seasoned survivors.
Our veteran survivors give their sister survivors, the gift of hope.
A variety of self esteem and empowerment workshops are offered through out the year..
We are committed to educating the youth in our State about healthy relationships. We have trained certified relationship health educators to host workshops. We host a variety of workshops several times a year from middle school to college age youth., We are also have a youth council serving to educate and engage the youth in our State .
